Our Story
MEHL Global is an organisation which offers a range of professional services dedicated to providing support in education and the wider schooling community.
MEHL Global was founded by Luísa Ribeiro, who has worked as an independent Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) consultant for many years, working with the British Council, University of Westminster, Roehampton University, the Embassies of Angola, Brazil, France, Italy, Mozambique, Portugal and Spain, as well as local authorities across the world. Luisa is a MFL, Inclusion and Multiculturalism specialist and has set up MEHL Global to support our students and schools, helping improve pupil achievement and offer opportunities to the next generation.
MEHL Global has a workforce from a wide variety of backgrounds and languages, as well as all ages, and we're proud to reflect the communities we work with. All our staff, including teachers, assessors and tutors, are Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checked, fully qualified and highly experienced.
Our Goal
As a business, our goal is to support organisations, Local Authorities and schools to help the younger generation succeed in life and take part in the world around them, fulfilling their potential as multicultural and global citizens.

Founder and CEO
I'm Luisa, the founder of MEHL Global and I am a specialist in Modern Foreign Languages, English as an Additional Language, Inclusion, and Multiculturalism.
As an educator from Portugal living in London for over 20 years, I've had the honour of teaching languages to students of all ages and working as an Education Consultant across all phases of education.
During my time in education, I have seen many children struggle with the curriculum due to language barriers. Originating from Portugal, I know first-hand: being multilingual is not a weakness, It is a strength that connects us all!
In fact, many of my fellow Portuguese citizens are fluent in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, and even German. This has allowed us to communicate and collaborate with people from around the world, breaking down cultural barriers and expanding our perspectives.
Being multilingual has also opened up doors for us at MEHL Global, allowing us to establish partnerships worldwide and connect with international schools.
Over time, I have cultivated a close connection with the communities I have worked with. It brings me immense joy to see my students thrive and pursue their passions, and this experience led me to a realisation that sparked the mission of MEHL Global.
